Bedrocan is an EU GMP-certified producer of standardised, pharmaceutical-grade medicinal cannabis. Our high-quality products are used as pharmaceutical raw materials and active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs).
What is cannabis standardisation?
Bedrocan has developed unique methods of producing cannabis with a constant composition of cannabinoids, batch to batch. That is what we call cannabis standardisation. Standardised medicinal cannabis is the only method to ensure patients and clinical research subjects experience consistent therapeutic effects over time.
Pharmaceutical-quality medicinal cannabis
Bedrocan’s whole production process is under strict quality control. We were the first company in the world to obtain EU-GMP certification for the production of medicinal cannabis. We have also gone beyond the Good Agricultural and Collection Practices (GACP) and created our own quality standards for cultivation: the Good Medicinal Cannabis Cultivation Practice (GMCCP).
Cannabis research
Bedrocan has its own clinical research unit where research is conducted into the effects of medicinal cannabis. Additionally, our Research and Development team conducts plant and analytical research to learn more about the medicinal properties of cannabis and other plants. We have always supported clinical trials and offered resources to research projects worldwide.
